These terms govern your use of SLO. Plain language, no surprises.

What SLO is

SLO is a technology platform that connects food producers with buyers. We provide the software tools — shop pages, ordering, payments, and delivery coordination. We are a technology provider, not a food business.

SLO is not a party to any transaction between a buyer and a seller. When you buy food through SLO, your purchase agreement is directly with the producer or shop. We facilitate the connection and process payments on their behalf, but we do not sell, produce, handle, store, or deliver the food ourselves.

Food safety and liability

All food sold on SLO is the sole responsibility of the producer or seller. They are responsible for food safety, labeling, allergen information, storage, handling, and compliance with all applicable food regulations. SLO does not inspect, certify, or guarantee any food products listed on the platform.

By purchasing food through SLO, you acknowledge that your transaction is with the seller and that any claims regarding food quality, safety, or compliance should be directed to the seller.

For buyers

Using SLO as a buyer is free. You can browse shops, follow producers, and place orders without any platform fees. Payment processing fees are handled by the seller.

For sellers

Producers and sellers can create shops and list products on SLO. Platform fees for sellers are not yet determined and will be communicated before they take effect. Stripe processing fees apply to card payments as set by Stripe.

As a seller, you are fully responsible for your products, pricing, descriptions, food safety compliance, and fulfillment of orders. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations for selling food in your jurisdiction.

Limitation of liability

SLO is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep the platform running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any losses, damages, or claims arising from transactions between buyers and sellers, food safety issues, delivery problems, or any other disputes between users of the platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SLO’s total liability to you for any claim related to the platform is limited to the amount you have paid to SLO (not to sellers) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload (product images, descriptions, shop branding). By uploading content to SLO, you grant us a license to display it on the platform. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you upload.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms or are used for fraudulent purposes.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes. Continued use of SLO after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes will be resolved in Swedish courts.
